Data deletion
Ask us to delete it, and we will.
Last updated 6 October 2026
If you want information Mira holds about you removed, whether from an email exchange, a connected social account or a Mira account and its workspaces, here is exactly how to ask and what happens next. Mira is operated by Agence Créative Maison Santé. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.
Removing a connected account and deleting content are self-serve and immediate. Everything else is one email and is completed within 30 days.
1. How to request deletion
Email hello@mirasocial.co from the email address tied to the information, with the subject line Data deletion. Tell us which information you want removed, or ask us to delete everything tied to that address, including a Mira account and the workspaces it owns.
- To delete your own user account, say so. We remove you from every agency and client workspace and delete your profile, sign-in history and notifications.
- To close an agency and delete all of its data, the agency owner writes to us with the agency name. We delete every workspace, all content and media, all connections and tokens, all client users, all notifications and all performance data.
- To delete information received from a specific platform, name the platform and the handle or page. We delete the tokens, account identifiers, post identifiers and performance figures received from that platform for that account.
2. How we verify
We may ask a question or two to confirm the request is really coming from you, for example by replying from the address on the account or confirming a recent action in the product. For an agency closure we confirm with the agency owner. This protects your information from anyone trying to delete it on your behalf without permission.
3. What happens next
Once verified, we delete or anonymise the information within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done. Deleted information leaves our encrypted backups within a further 30 days. If we are required to keep a minimal record for legal reasons, we tell you what and why.
Approval decisions and comments you made inside an agency's workspace are part of that agency's record. When your account is deleted they stay attributed to a removed user unless the agency deletes them too.
4. Remove a connected social, advertising or email account yourself
Removing a connection deletes the platform's access tokens from our systems immediately and stops every publish and data pull for that account.
- Sign in to Mira, open the client workspace, go to Settings, then Connections.
- Find the account and choose Remove. Confirm when asked.
- The connection disappears, its tokens are deleted and no further data is requested from the platform.
You can also revoke Mira inside the platform. For Facebook, open Settings, then Apps and Websites, find Mira and remove it. For Instagram, open Settings, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. For TikTok, open Settings and privacy, then Security, then Apps and services. When a platform tells us access was revoked we delete the tokens on our side as well. Please also remove the connection in Mira so your team sees the right status.
Performance figures already shown in your reports stay in the workspace as part of your reporting record until the content or workspace is deleted. To have them removed earlier, email us as described above and name the account.
5. Delete content, media and assets yourself
- Posts: open the post, use its menu and choose Archive. Archived posts leave every view and can be permanently deleted on request.
- Assets: in Assets, select the file and choose Delete. It moves to Trash, where it can be restored for 30 days, and is then permanently removed from storage. To remove it sooner, delete it from Trash.
- Comments and annotations are attached to the media version they were written on and are deleted with that content.
6. Requests under Meta, TikTok and other platform policies
If you removed Mira from your Facebook, Instagram or TikTok account and want confirmation that every piece of information received from that platform about you has been deleted, email hello@mirasocial.co with the subject line Platform data deletion, the platform name and the handle or page name. We delete the tokens, account identifiers, post identifiers and performance figures received from that platform for that account and reply with a confirmation within 30 days.
Platforms may also instruct us directly to delete data, for example when a user removes the app or the platform disables it. We act on those instructions within the time the platform requires.
7. What we keep
- Billing and invoice records for 7 years, as tax and accounting law requires.
- Records we need to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, for as long as that claim is live.
- Server logs and error reports, which expire on their own within 30 days.
8. Contact
Agence Créative Maison Santé, operator of Mira. Email hello@mirasocial.co. We reply to every deletion request within 30 days and confirm when the deletion is complete.
